Why we recommend Xiaomi MiMo

Why Xiaomi MiMo

Xiaomi MiMo Open Platform combines API access, model documentation and a developer-oriented Token Plan in one product surface. The current official model list centers on the MiMo-V2.5 family. mimo-v2.5-pro is positioned for complex reasoning, deep thinking and long-document processing, while mimo-v2.5 supports text generation, multimodal understanding, function calling, structured output and web search. Both text models offer a 1M-token context window and up to 128K output, making them suitable for long-running agents and coding tasks.

The Token Plan page lists OpenCode, OpenClaw, Claude Code, Kilo Code, Cline, Cherry Studio and Qwen Code, and describes a practical flow: choose a subscription, install a tool, then configure the model, API key and base URL. The platform also includes ASR, TTS, voice cloning and voice design models, so speech features can share the same account and API ecosystem.

The public Token Plan page still did not expose a verifiable numeric monthly price during this review, so check the official page before subscribing. The MiMo ecosystem has matured materially, however: MiMo Code is now officially released (persistent memory, Compose mode, Dream self-evolution, voice input), the MiMo Claw official version launched (flagship model + Kingsoft WPS ecosystem), and the Responses API is live and OpenAI Responses API-compatible, able to connect to the new Codex. The API pay-as-you-go documentation, updated August 6, 2026, now publishes both domestic (¥) and overseas ($) V2.5 input/output, ASR and web-service rates.
